Healthcare branding

IE Brand is an award-winning branding agency working in the healthcare sector.

We specialise in helping the NHS, health charities, social care providers and other health organisations to engage with their audiences – increasing their impact and reach through brand research, messaging, visual identity and logo design, campaigns, and behaviour change.

Healthcare brands simply can’t afford to be lost in the crowd. We empower our clients to better understand and articulate their brands: how they look, sound and behave – helping more patients to improve their physical and mental health.

Sexwise: Sexual health campaign brand for FPA

The FPA needed an intriguing, witty brand and website to deliver straightforward information and support on sexual health, sex and relationships to everyone in the UK.

Read how IE created the new Sexwise brand

We needed an agency to help us develop a sex-positive, digital-first new brand to get health information to the public. At the pitch, IE impressed us with their expertise, agile approach to digital and enthusiasm for the project.

The brand has to appeal to a broad audience of 16-50 year olds as well as health professionals, so audience involvement right from the start was essential. IE delivered a comprehensive research piece which led to clear recommendations on brand positioning, messaging and tone, which were then tested out in workshops. We're delighted with the bright, confident new visual identity that emerged and brand messaging that's bold, brave and never too dry or clinical.

We enjoyed working with the IE team and we're really delighted with the end result.

IE Brand created a new brand for Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute (PVRI). PVRi is a global membership charity that’s bringing experts, researchers, and industry leaders together to combat pulmonary vascular diseases (PVD). Through innovation, education, research and advocacy, PVRI is helping healthcare professionals to better understand PVD, and enabling cutting-edge research to improve diagnosis, treatment and care.

The new logo builds on PVRI’s legacy while modernising key elements to bring their much-loved warm and caring nature to life.

The theme of this year’s Congress was ‘The next 50 years of pulmonary hypertension – a global view’, so launching our modern and fresh visual identity that embraces an exciting new chapter for the organisation felt especially fitting. We wanted to ensure it reflects our members' energy, passion, and commitment to PVD, and the feeling of PVRI as a global family.

University College of Osteopathy branded collateral

When the British School of Osteopathy was granted University College status, they became the first degree-awarding, specialist osteopathic institution in the world. To make the most of this unique status, they needed to review their name and their brand. With IE's help they've become the University College of Osteopathy (UCO).

IE Digital developed two new websites for the University College and its clinic. Early in the consultancy it became obvious that the clinic needed a separate website to address the specific needs of its user base, so the two sites have been designed and developed in parallel to accommodate the differing user journeys, while maintaining close links and a consistent look and feel.

IE has led us expertly through a significant rebranding project, engaging with key stakeholders and ensuring buy-in at every stage. We’re delighted with our new visual identity and how IE has brought it to life online.

First Community Health and Care annual report in new brand

Part of the NHS family, First Community Health and Care CIC is a not-for-profit with a mission to help people to stay in their own homes for longer. IE was commissioned to craft an inspiring new brand identity and incorporate this into a responsive CMS driven website.

We conducted qualitative stakeholder interviews, audience mapping, competitor mapping and market positioning to develop a new brand proposition, key messaging and tone of voice. Combined with a new logo, visual identity, brand guidelines and collateral templates, the work brought clarity and consistency to First Community's communications with key target audiences.

We then developed a new website and social media profile to support the new brand.

We selected IE due to their evidenced based methodology. The project was fantastically managed and kept to time. IE pushed us to think outside the box, challenging our processes and setting success criteria for the project. Our relationship with IE worked so well we have continued to work with them to design our marketing collateral and website.
