Who cares about your cause? Soliciting support in an indifferent world
We're looking forward to meeting charity fundraising professionals at the Third Sector Fundraising Conference next week. IE is sponsoring the event, with our MD Ollie Leggett leading a workshop on Tuesday alongside Paul Maxwell-Rose at charity CHIPS and fundraising consultant Iris Keenan.
The Fundraising Conference is approaching fast, and we can't wait to spend two days surrounded by charity professionals from far and wide.
As a values driven business, we love nothing more than talking to like-minded people who are committed to making a difference in the world – and helping them to do so. We'll be exhibiting throughout the event, so there will be plenty of opportunities to chat in between sessions about all things brand and digital – and how to harness them to drive fundraising.
Plus, as a sponsor of the conference, Ollie Leggett will be leading a workshop session alongside one of our favourite charity clients: CHIPS. The workshop is entitled "Who cares about… [insert your cause here]? How to employ brand storytelling to engage the emotions and solicit the support of an indifferent world."
Ollie will be joined by Paul Maxwell-Rose, Director at CHIPS, and they'll explain how the Christian peacemakers recently rebranded. Through the process, CHIPS discovered the power of their brand story to succinctly, distinctively and compellingly articulate their ambition for of peace to its supporters – without compromising their founding principles, caricaturing the challenges of the communities they serve or boring the donors on whom they all ultimately rely.
In this practical workshop we'll share seven-and-a-half secrets to unearth your story, and take your audiences on the journey to donation. Iris Keenan, Consultant, will also add some of her 20 years of fundraising experience into the mix.
IE's workshop session is on Tuesday, 22 May at 11.30am.
Ollie will be on the IE stand all day on Tuesday during networking breaks, and we'll have Carl Timms, Senior Digital Consultant in attendance on Wednesday, to answer all your digital questions. We'd love to hear from you about the challenges you are currently facing, and share some of our experiences working with charity clients including SVP (St. Vincent de Paul Society), Betel, FPA (Family Planning Association) and of course CHIPS.

IE Brand were excellent at guiding our team, and challenging us where we needed to be challenged. IE Brand's wise, high-quality work to rebrand CHIPS will lead to a step-change for the charity. Awesome work!Paul Maxwell-Rose
