IE’s Infographic Magic for Global Entrepreneurship Week 2014

The Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is the world’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship. The annual event plays a crucial role in encouraging and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs. IE’s talented designers have been commissioned for a second year, by client Goldman Sachs, to create a visually inspiring printed report as part of the campaign.

Running from the 17th-23rd November, the GEW inspires people everywhere to be more entrepreneurial through local, national and global activities, from large-scale competitions to intimate networking events. The week attracts high profile entrepreneurs who are enthusiastic about sharing their personal experiences and insights, with the overall aim of promoting entrepreneurship.

This is the second year that IE has worked on the project for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business UK (10KSB), a partnership between Goldman Sachs, and the business schools of the universities of Oxford, Aston, Leeds, Manchester Met and UCL providing support to small business leaders seeking to grow their businesses. The 10KSB produce a Progress Report to measure and communicate the impact of the programme based on measurements taken throughout the year.

IE has designed this year’s report, Empowering Entrepreneurs, Accelerating Growth, for the programme. We have been instrumental in communicating the impact of their project, by designing a report to utilise innovative data visualisation techniques and craft information graphics to position the report walking the fine line between an academic paper and an accessible, visually engaging report.
